Get some planetary action with your November horoscopes.

Fasten your seatbelts, folks. On November 4—Election Day—conservative Saturn clashes with rebellious Uranus. As if you didn't see it coming! The last time this happened was in the mid-'60s, so imagine the tension and potential fallout. On the 26th, take-no-prisoners Pluto re-enters Capricorn (the sign that rules government, business, and banking) until 2023! Yes, that means Change is no longer an option—it's non-negotiable. The good news is beginning the 27th there are four weeks when all the planets are moving direct, so it's a perfect time to ditch what's broke and usher in something new. About time, right?

SCORPIO October 24-November 21
Don't be discouraged by setbacks in early November; this is the month you've been waiting for. On the 10th the Scorpio sun harmonizes with dazzling Jupiter and electric Uranus; obstacles that were blocking a dream project disappear and new doors open. Leos are the rock stars, all swagger and sequins; Scorpios are royalty; the world comes to you. So, start getting used to that crown.

SAGITTARIUS November 22-December 21
Since 1995 Pluto has been in Sadge kicking up a storm and forcing you to confront your scariest demons. The good news is that Pluto departs on the 26th. You may feel dazed, like someone emerging from rehab, but it'll pass. Celebrate on the 27th when the sun, moon, Mercury, and Mars all party in your sign. CAPRICORN December 22-January 19
In the brilliant 1962 Italian film Mafioso, the protagonist (a factory supervisor) is shipped from Sicily to New York City in a crate to commit a murder for the Mafia, then shipped back. When Saturn and Uranus face off on the 4th you may find yourself in a tight spot and have to make a difficult choice. Don't compromise your values. Once Pluto enters Cap on the 26th you'll be calling all the shots.

AQUARIUS January 20 - February 18
The Chinese word for "crisis" is made up of two characters; danger and opportunity. When your two rulers, Saturn and Uranus, collide on the 4th and your world collapses, it may feel like the end, but it's really just the beginning. On the 10th and 21st you have spectacular career and relationship opportunities. Stop obsessing over what you've lost or you might miss it.

PISCES February 19-March 20
Pisces aren't rebels, but you would do anything right now to break free and gain your independence even if it cost you a close relationship. A time of confusion is not a time for action. Between the 10th and the 12th you suddenly have an epiphany of how to make it all work. In the meantime, find a way to release the tension; extreme sports or shopping should do the trick.

ARIES March 21-April 19
Studies show that most trapeze artists have accidents, not during the performance but while they are descending from the high wire. From the 10th to the 21st you have the potential to pull off something big and land in the spotlight. It's not the dangerous moves that can trip you up; it's the tiny details. Make sure you've landed firmly on the ground before you take your bow.

TAURUS April 20-May 20
There's lots of romance this month, but like the stock market it's volatile. The possessive full moon on the 13th brings out your jealous nature. It can turn out in your favor on the 26th when Jupiter and Saturn team up with your Taurus sun. Of course, that involves not acting obsessive or controlling.

GEMINI May 21-June 21
In an interview last year, Paul McCartney talked about the uncanny way in which the Beatles came together. "What are the odds that those four guys would find each other?" he said. During the second half of November your relationship house is buzzing. An unexpected meeting or incident can be the catalyst to transform your life. Pay attention to omens and accept all invitations. You Never Know.

CANCER June 22-July 22
Responsibilities you took on a little while ago can suddenly feel overwhelming the first week of November, and you're tempted to call it quits. Don't do anything drastic! Beginning the 10th a whole slew of people at work, including someone special, want to pitch in and help. All you have to do is drop that old passive-aggressive thing and let them. Easier said than done.

LEO July 23-August 22
There was a kooky but cool seminar in the '80s called the Fire Walk; participants learned confidence while walking over hot coals. The key was to visualize yourself on the other side. When those nightmares about poverty creep up in early November, just keep your eye on the 21st; lucky Jupiter is bringing you a new source of income. Really.

VIRGO August 23-September 22

LIBRA September 23-October 23
Overbearing bosses and annoying co-workers give you migraines in early November. Concentrate on your home instead; with Jupiter in your domestic 4th house, turning your 3rd-floor walkup into a Shangri-la brings you pleasure. Once fiery Mars enters your social 3rd house on the 16th you'll have unexpected energy and invites. Enjoy it.
