Advanced Style: Band of Outsiders' Holiday Lookbook
Scott Sternberg, the rascally, CFDA-winning designer of Band of Outsiders, must be nervous about Kodak's decision to stop making Polariod film. For years, now, the L.A.-based Sternberg has been shooting his lookbooks and making updates to his blog using the warm, blow-out images produced by the old instant-film wonder that was a favorite of Andy Warhol and police mug-shot photographers everywhere. As Valet Magazine tells us, for his holiday '08 collection, Sternberg pointed his flashbulb at photographer Paul Jasmin, who looks quite the ladykiller in this collection of '50s-inspired shawl-collar velvet jackets, colorful shirts, and vests. Let's just hope Sternberg has been stockpiling those Kodak cartridges. (Valet)
