Bruno Strikes Again: Baron Cohen Hits Stella McCartney

bruno1002.jpgThe best news item last week, hands down, was Sacha Baron Cohen's invasion of the Milan in character as his rag-wearing alter ego, Bruno for his new movie Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male. Like Borat at a Pamela Anderson book signing, Bruno simultaneously garnered cheers, courtesy of the audience and a pair of handcuffs, courtesy of the local police. This week, at the Stella McCartney show, Bruno stayed off the catwalk, this time playing the role of the typical fashion show spectator; pushing others around for a better look, clapping along to the music, and sucking on a Tampax. The question is, how they could tell it was Baron Cohen and not Oliver Zahm or André Leon Talley. Was it the hair? (Vogue UK)
