Drink Up—A Boozer Guide to Fashion Week Freebies

If there are three things Fashion Week has in surplus it's frocks, small talk, and free alcohol. As much as an opportunity for liquor promoters to amp up the visibility or old or new products as it is for fashion houses, the next few days are a toast to the industry's fondness for style and ongoing functional alcoholism. On top of the ubiquitous Peronis (yes, Italian beer, weird), 10 Cane rum (oooh, bad hangover memories), and a vodka called Pûr which we've never ordered anywhere else, here's a rundown of other faves on the party circuit. Longstanding champ Belvedere will be on hand at the Oak party upstairs at Santos. The lovely Abigail Lorick will be serving Chopin "potato vodka" for her post-show celebration. Taneto will make the Tar party that much more interesting. You read that right. So far, though, Hornitos seems to be a winner, snagging the the Ju$t Another Rich Kid/Bblessing event at Beast, The Love Carnival Valentine's Day benefit, and several others. Seems like tequila shots are this year's beer bong. In any case, this is is just the tip of the liquor luge—we're sure that collectively we can get a full wine list.
