Chanel Purse Eschews Leather and Satin for Beef Jerky
If the Canal Street designer bag bastardization weren't enough, we just found that the latest leather to be fashioned into a tony Chanel bag is, well… beef jerky. Is Coco rolling over in her grave or what? Heck, Karl is probably having a jerky-related seizure about this salty project by Nancy Wu, a product design student at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Does this mean we'll be able to snatch up little chain purse along with our Big Gulp? What's the expiration date on a bag like this? Even better, there's a lovely little Louis jerky wallet to go with it. We suppose if times get really tough you can have a little nibble. (Designboom)
