Food for Thought: Tasting Table Debuts Email Dining Guide

tasting0918bc.jpgWith a million restaurants in the five boroughs, but often choosing a restaurant in New York ain't as easy as you'd think. With new restaurants opening every day and choices ranging from hole-in-the-wall eateries to high-end affairs, the question "where should we eat" can often be followed by a thoughtful silence. A long thoughtful silence. Thank god for the launch of Tasting Table, a new email publication that will send a daily email of a recent dining news and reviews. Nothing will be off limits, whether it be the latest falafel cart in Midtown or the swankiest new bar opening in Tribeca. They've promised not to bring us a review until they've eaten there themselves, and that they aren't going to be focused solely on new openings, but also our old favorites in every neighborhood. And for those of us who can't fork over the cash to eat out every night, they'll be sending recipes from the pros to keep our bellies full at home. Life just got a little easier.
