Futurama: Hussein Chalayan's Greatest Hits to Be Exhibited in London

hussein-chalayan-exhibit.jpg

Too young for a retrospective but—let's face it—too amazing for just any ol' show, the ever-innovative, always-ahead-of-his-time designer Hussein Chalayan is debuting an exhibit in London that will feature some of his, "greatest hits and inspirations from the past 15 years." There will be 35 outfits on display that reference his obsessions with, "architecture, technology, philosophy, and anthropology," so we're willing to bet some of those incredible disappearing frocks and LED-screen dresses from spring and fall 2007 will be among the mix. So for all you lucky kids across the pond, head on over to London's Design Museum, where the exhibit opens January 22 and goes 'til May 17. It'll be, in his words, nothing short of "monumental."
