In the Company of Men: New E-commerce Site Offers Designer Looks On a Dime Store Budget

Long gone are the days that society frowned upon men taking an interest in fashion and looking good. It's become typical for guys to take shopping, and bargain shopping in particular, just as seriously as their female couter-parts. So why does is it seem that womenswear e-commerce outnumbers mens' 10 to 1? Partners (in life and crime) Jayzel Samonte and Christopher Crawford saw this not as an obstacle, but an opportunity. Together they founded Company of We to fill the void of online shopping dedicated exclusively to the boys. The site features a dizzying array of dapper pieces to take you from a shots of whiskey on Saturday night to Bloody Marys at brunch on Sunday morning. Key pieces include a suave navy blazer with suede lapels, dandy pleated shorts, drop-crotch sweats (who says lounging isn't sexy?), multicolored striped knits, and cropped pants that are perfectly on point with the way current designer looks make their way to the street. Except for a few notable exceptions, everything on the site is under $200. Now that's some company worth keeping.
