Jet Set Dressing: André Saraiva's Andréwear

andre1006.jpg

As the New York Times reports, André Saraiva has added "fashion designer" to his long list stylish appellations (world-renowned graffiti artist, nightclub impresario, Hotel designer, co-owner of the Beatrice Inn, etc.) The mens line, Andréwear, named after His Highness produced for those like himself—aloof, continental club goers with a taste for hip-hop culture, mixed drinks, and a tendency to wear their sunglasses at night. Consisting of leather jackets and skinny jeans, maybe these new duds will help you beat the line outside Beatrice on a Saturday night (if you dare do so.) Of course, Andréwear will be carried exclusively at Saraiva's Paris boutique, Black Block. (NYTimes)
