Marc Wears Lipstick for Nars' 15th Birthday Book
Turning 15 is a big deal, and for Nars founder François Nars, he chose to celebrate the birthday with a book featuring 15 of Nars' celebu-friends sporting the brand's iconic products with their own interpretive spin. For example, Marc Jacobs' cherry-red inspiration photo resulted in a shot that paid tribute to the line's Dovima lipstick. Olivier Theyskens' picture of a decrepit, rusting bus translated into a brooding photo of him wearing the bronzy Lovejoy blush, while a dark and shimmering Daphne Guinness snapshot inspired the portrait of the skunk-haired beauty in a glitter-encrusted gown and Night Breed eyeshadow. Pick up your copy this November at 15x15. Lookin' good, Nars. Happy 15th! (WWD)
