Masterminds Behind Chloe's Weekly "Ivy" Party Want To Make Montauk The New Atlantic City
Now that it's officially been confirmed that the Beatrice Inn/Atlantic City (aka the "Jamptons" as dubbed by Beatrice regulars) "field" trips will once again be happening, downtown rival Chloe 81 and the masterminds behind their weekly Wednesday night parties must naturally up their ante. Enter Solé East, the Montauk resort with cabana suites and bar/restaurant. Yes, this summer, the Ivy will be moving its weekly party to Montauk (maybe because the fashion flock has, well, fled Chloe's hot-for-a-minute nest), starting with a kick-off launch June 6 (and special guest DJ who is more than a little connected with Chloe's rival, Bea). Harley and Cassie are just a few of the guest DJs lined up to spin the Saturday night shindigs, while Nylon's Jared Flint and cohort Mike Townsend will once again play dapper host in bowtie get-up. But will they offer up free suites, party buses, open bars, and Playstations in the cabanas like the Beatrice team promises? Hipsters, start pledging your allegiances now.
