Numbers Game: 6267 Closes After Splitting With Backers

626709016.jpgNews erupted yesterday that critical darlings 6267 have closed their label due to conflicts with their manufacturer, Castor srl. Naturally, when you break with the guys who make your clothes and own half your business, there isn't much point in hanging around. Business of Fashion reports that the duo of Roberto Rimondi and Tomasso Aquilano will be starting a new line once the divorce from their corporate partners, so no permanent damage done. Still, we're reminded that the cost of doing business in this industry is almost as high as the frocks it makes. At least this gives Rimondi and Aquilano a chance to pick a new name—you know, one with consonants and vowels. Just a suggestion. (Business of Fashion)
