OMGOSSIP! Beth Ditto Plays Warholian Muse For May's Dazed
Is Beth Ditto doing for contemporary pop culture what Marilyn Monroe did for the '60s? Well, Dazed & Confused certainly seems to think so. Check out the cover of their new May issue, which features Beth covered in Warhol-like smooches and super-winged eyeliner. Is it crazy or what? And note the text in the corner: Beth's name gets listed in the same sentence as German film visionary Werner Herzog (okay, and Peaches, but that's a different story). When was the last time anybody even picked up a Gossip album? Can somebody please explain Beth's big comeback? We remember seeing her doing it up in a bronze bodysuit at Misshapes three years ago, and that's saying a lot... (FashionCopious)
