Optical Illusion: Salvor Adds Some Color to Rogan Bowerie

rogan0918.jpg

We missed Rogan Gregory and his sharp wares this Fashion Week. Perhaps he was too immersed in his latest project—a capsule collection with New York design studio Salvor, famous for its skillful printmaking. Combining Rogan's stylish, often minimalist, eco-friendly looks and Salvor's fascinating patterns (shown above) promises to be a hot mix of form and flourish. The denim looks and tees, which include Rogan funnel jeans and oversized jersey tops, will be available exclusively at the Rogan Bowerie Store beginning September 25. Goodies like limited edition Salvor accessories and free-with-purchase Rogan vs. Salvor denim pouches make this collab an even sweeter deal. Speaking about his partnership with Salvor, Rogan praises the designer's skill, saying, "His use of pattern, color, and robot iconography send shivers up my spine. I am moved and perplexed simultaneously." Took the words right out of our mouth.

The Rogan Bowerie Store is located at 330 Bowery, New York, 646-827-7567; www.rogannyc.com.
