Project Runway: On the Hunt for Fresh Meat

rogan_links061308.jpgThere's an old adage that goes back to the Dark Ages: "Those who can't do star on reality television." "Project Runway," however, always manages to buck that conventional wisdom. From Jay McCarroll to Christian "Hot-trannie-mess-trannie-trannie" Soriano, the top competitors have always had some redeeming talents (even if some early losers can't, you know, sew). So, if you've ever felt that you have the skills, talent, and shamelessness to be Kelly Clarkson to Nina Garcia's Randy Jackson, now is the time. You only have until the 9th, that's Wednesday to you and me, to apply at "Project Runway's" website. Now, for most of us, that's not enough time to compile a "virtual portfolio" and "personal video," let alone think of a witty riposte to Tim Gunn's withering constructive criticism. But you know what they say, "You're either een or you're awtt," and you've got only hours to get enn. Make it work, people.
