Raf Simons For Dr. Martens: Not Exactly What The Doctor Ordered
Just try saying the word "mandals" without giggling. An even tougher task? Wearing mandals without inspiring everyone else to start giggling. This "gladiator inspired" footwear, designed by Raf Simons for Doc Marten, is the kind of thing that would allow your Roman enemy to vanquish you with sheer mockery instead of mighty combat at the Coliseum. One style is the stereotypical-German-tourist-shoe (gone shiny), and the other is the signature Doc Marten boot strappily deconstructed and peep-toed. Yeesh. So, would you let your male friend/boyfriend stomp the sidewalk in these, shall we say, unusual styles?
