Rochas Resurrected? Famed Fashion Line Gets a Second Chance

rochas1007.jpgWhen Procter & Gamble announced the discontinuation of fashion label Rochas in 2006, many fashion insiders were stunned (not to mention the bevy of celebrity gals who were fans of the brand). When Olivier Theyskens took the helm in 2002, the line had received much critical praise. Today, The Wall Street Journal and WWD announced that P&G will be giving Rochas a second life. The first collection will be shown in March 2009. No one has been named as Theyskens successor, as he has since been designing at Nina Ricci. We'll be looking expectantly to the runways come spring, praying that in fashion, lightning can, in fact, strike twice.
