Okay, okay—we admit this kind of naff gown by San Francisco designer Catherine Jane isn't exactly Refinery-approved style. Sure the blue-on-silver faux-flock brocade is a nice choice (makes of think of Jane Mayle, actually), and it's a brave attempt, surely. But Jane's piece just not us. The style of it is not why we're linking this SF Gate post on Project Inform's benefit fashion show in the City by the Bay. Rather, it's the translucent material she uses for the gown's lacy trim and bustle lining. Look close. Look closer. Look again. Can you find the well tips? Oh yeah. Crazy, hunh? Sarah Palin's gonna hate this. (SF Gate)
