Sugar Cookies, Enabled: Sugar Inc Announces Two New Releases
Sugar Inc, the company that has spawned a number of blogs aimed at the fashion-savvy set, including PopSugar, is launching two new ventures tonight: PopSugar's CelebStyle, a sort of style-focused IMDB, and ShopStyle API, a fashion/style search engine that will let developers use its database with any number of applications. CelebStyle will let die-hard fashionistas (or stalkers) copy outfits directly from ensembles worn by their favorite stars and characters on their favorite shows, and ShopStyle API is sure to generate a plethora of fashion-centric web and iPhone applications in the next few months. If online celeb-obsessing and cyber styling is your thing, these promise a frightening sugar high. (Washington Post)
