They're in Control: Chromeo Branches Out into Fashion
Your favorite faux-80s-soft-synth band, Chromeo is hard at work in the studio on a new album. But that's not really the big news. Partnering with leather-friendly scenester brand, Surface to Air, the tongue-in-cheek duo will be designing a capsule line for those needy guys who dig the needy girls. Said keyboardist P-Thugg to Billboard Magazine, "We're going to create pieces that match our style." Hoodies, western shirts, and varsity jackets are on the menu, but don't be surprised if a few short-cut motorcycle jackets and baseball caps make the cut too. We're just wondering if cold-chain necklaces or branded Casiotones will also be featured in what is sure to be a lovably cornball-chic collection. (Billboard)
