Weigh In: Skinny Standards Still Popular?

These days, it seems like everyone has an opinion about how skinny the models on the fashion runways are. And if they're not commenting on models, they have something to say about celebs and It girls. While some have a more positive outlook on what they consider an improving situation this Fashion Week, others consider weight standards in the industry "draconian." We say look at Daisy Lowe who looked hearty and glowing on Vivianne Westwood and Charlotte Ronson's catwalks. Or take note of Nian Fish, chair of a fashion designers health initiative, who reported that model sizes were up to 2 and 4 from previous size zeros. With the acceptance of "less-cookie cutter" looks in the fashion world, as Avril Graham of Harper's Bazaar says, comes the possibility for a more open outlook on weight. Even Kate Moss is looking pretty normal these days, according to the Huffington Post. We say, looking healthy will never go out of style. (Freep)
