Bartlett for Claiborne: Um, Not So Much
Okay, it must be said that we love brands from the '70s and '80s. More specifically, we look back in love to the style (or anti-style) of Liz Claiborne in particular. But this new relaunch of the brand, which includes a new men's line by John Bartlett (Claiborne by John Bartlett) has us worried. We hemmed and hawed about posting this, but we had to make note of the Miami floral shrimp cocktail thing going on here—this whole getup looks like a '70s livingroom set. We think you should probably have the last word on this in the comments. (WWD)
