In Our City, Cookies Always Beat Sex

sexcity_rts.jpgWhen thousands of fans turned out for the Sex and the City premiere at Radio City Music Hall last night, we were not among them. Opting instead for the creature comforts of home (or really any party that wasn't the premiere), we found better, more productive ways to move the fashion forward. The Lakers/Spurs game was on, for instance, as was Deadliest Catch. Drawers of pens were begging to be organized, and what's better on a rainy night than baking a fresh batch of cookies? ??A more intrepid member of our staff attended Earnest Sewn's opening party for their back-room, teenage-girl-themed Ruffian shop, but immediately left in protest after discovering that one of the props was an imprisoned live guinea pig. Moral dilemma: Notify the ASPCA or leave it alone? ?In any case, it was night well spent.
