TenOverSix's and Shepard Fairey: Window Shopping We Can Believe In

Somehow, retail and fashion have been more effected by the present election than by any other in memory. As we look through the annals of shopping history, we can see "I Like Ike" buttons, Lincoln hairpins, and Jackie Kennedy suits in store windows—but nothing as boldly partisan as display at L.A. boutique TenOverSix. Using imagery by Obama poster maker Shepard Fairey, TenOverSix has completely pasted over their windows with images of the Democratic candidate (you know, "That One") on the outside and giant slogans like, "We Are The Change We Seek," and "We Still Believe In America" on the inside. Obviously, TenOverSix are Obamamanics—but we have to wonder if the fact that Obama's popularity keeps going up made the window displays good business as well.
