Hot Wheels: What Your Car Says About Your Style
What would James Bond be without a sporty two-seater that drives women crazy and dispatches enemies with concealed hellfire missiles? Just an overdressed guy on the bicycle, that's what. And what would Cher Horowitz be without her white Wrangler with a "monster sound system" and rearview mirror angled perfectly for lipstick touchups on the go? Like, the loser-iest girl in all of SoCal, right? Whether you're real or fictional, a car that speaks to your personality and style, extends your taste beyond the clothes on your back and makes you a style icon that can move a mile a minute. Of course, you have to choose carefully. Take a look our guide to what autos tell us about their drivers before you get behind the wheel. The Land Rover Defender

You Are: The Rugged Traveller
You live in tough jeans and fine plaid, as tried and true as the beast you drive. Your wardrobe lives up to your wilderness lifestyle (ok, Fairfield County wilderness). In the cupholder you'll find a Vitamin Water, a Powerbar, and a map to the best ski spots north of Boston.

Ditch Your Uggs: Here Are 12 Boots To Keep You High and Dry This Season
As the temperature's descent forces us to transition from sandals to peep toes with tights and then to ankle boots and thick, nubby sock, we're beginning to realize that we've once again come to that point when wearing your fancy shoes means risking a bad case of frostbite. Though the weather's looking fair now, sub-zero temps and Jack Frost's icy wiles are just around the corner. To get you and your toes ready for the big chill, we've rounded up twelve sturdy boots that will stand up through wind, snow, and all that pesky, chalky road salt.

The Perfect Outfit: Leather and Chiffon to Celebrate a Second Wave of Summer

Here in New York, the weather is as fleeting and fickle as the fashion. In fall, it can go from warm and sunny to cold and soggy overnight. Best to be prepared. When we saw this photo of Natalia Bogdanova on Altamira, we were impressed by her transitional take on the fall uniform. Go bare legged with a pleated skirt and leather jacket, or pair them with tights and a scarf when it starts to get cold. So take a peek at our favorite finds from the Web and learn how to live through whatever Mother Nature tosses your way.

Silly Rabbit, Benoit Missolin's Headbands are for Chicks

After the Louis Vuitton bunny ears popped up in every major editorial and on every fashion-forward celebrity, we're wondering if the slogan should really read "après Vuitton, le deluge." When Marc Jacobs sent his models down the fall '09 Louis Vuitton runway in those now-iconic bunny ears, a quirky headband epidemic hit the fashion scene, and we admit, we've become quite smitten. Thankfully, we've discovered Benoît Missolin, the French designer who creates spunky, fanciful gems of headpieces to satisfy our eccentric headband cravings. Bunny ears? Check. Plump red lips? Got them. Twisted yarn concoctions and darling pom poms? Hell, and Yes. So, if you're keen on looking more like Jessica Rabbit and a lot less like her cousin Bugs, pop one of these headbands on to get the full, bunny effect. Hop to it!

You Won't Look Like a Square With B-Side's Cubic, Steam-Punk Jewelry

The steampunk trend's still going hard and strong (as great trends are wont to do), and if you're looking for a little something special to wear with your metal-plated shoes, consider Ken and Dana Design's newest batch of B-Side jewelry. Sculptural exercises in cubism and gigantic crystals knuckle-dusters might look right at home on the nitty-gritty lot, but the pyrite pendants are nothing but dainty. Hang one of these striking pieces around your neck because looking like a square (or should we say, cube) has never looked better.

Men's Musts: 9 Things Every Guy Should Buy and Wear
While we love dudes who aren't afraid to sport the latest and greatest, there are a few staples that should absolutely, positively form the basis of every man's wardrobe, dandy or not. As perfect paired with of-the-moment get-ups as they are on their own, these totally timeless no-brainer pieces—from dark wash jeans to desert boots—can and should be worn again and again. Yes, it's easy for a fella to get sucked into the trends that cheap-chic factories like H&M and Topman churn out each season, but these closet classics will stick around longer than six months—and should have a place in every guy's permanent rotation.1. The Classic Dark-Washed Jeans

There's nothing like a pair of great-fitting straight leg jeans, and dark wash never goes out of style. Truly indispensable, they can be dressed up or down, and get better with wear. Seriously, if you have a pair of jeans with any sort of kooky stitching or pocket designs, discard immediately.
